    Mama Cheryl's Journal

    I love my hunting doggies!

Hello! I'm Cheryl, the mom of the two badass cooks who I am sure you have met here at The Hotel Leela. My husband Dave and I have the pleasure of sharing our lives with two Brittanys named Chase and Ziggy. They pretty much rule our lives. The four of us love the outdoors.

Documenting my family experiences with photos and journals has been a hobby for many years. I enjoy canning, hunting, fishing, foraging. I'm also content sitting in front of a campfire or on my porch swing enjoying nature or reading a book, which happens more often nowadays!

Someday, I'm gonna teach Leela Storm to hunt birds!

Don't forget to check out The AttaGrill Patio and Quavid's Kitchen!
