Easy Tahini

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup Sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup grapeseed oil
  • Salt (optional)

Instructions

Prepare Sesame Seeds

  1. Toast sesame seeds in a pan on medium to medium-low heat until just turning light brown, stirring frequently
  2. Cool seeds in a separate pan

Blitz Seeds

  1. Once cooled, blitz seeds in a food processor until crumbly

Finish Up

  1. Add the oil a bit at a time and blend until the consistency is smooth and pourable

Notes

This serving size is perfect for a one-can chickpea hummus. It can easily ramp up for larger batches.
